Who are We:

Tetraplegia Workgroup started in 1999, a non-profit voluntary group functioning under the umbrella of Friends of Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Singapore).

We aim to cater to the needs of tetraplegics in the workgroup and most importantly to instill and foster a sense of "Family Spirit" into the workgroup. This is achieved through the process of organising more events, outings and recreational activities for the tetraplegics hoping to form a network of support to one another.

Our objective is to befriend tetraplegic persons and assist in meeting their medical, social, vocational and physical needs by linking with existing services available.

Most of these persons are home-bound; being constantly surrounded by 4 walls is only one of their enclosures.

It is tough coping with the physical constraints; it takes extra effort from both the tetraplegic person and their families to re-integrate into our society. By being a group of supportive friends, we hope to help them along.
